I am writing a short text, and English is not my native language. Please, check my text for mistakes, thanks:
“His father, Jorge Guillermo Borges, Argentinean, natural from Entre Ríos, was a lawyer and a Psychology teacher. He was a great reader and had literary aspirations that fulfilled in a novel, The Leader, and some poems. Also, he translated Omar Jayyam by Fitzgerald from the English version. By 1970, Jorge Luis Borges remembered to his father with the following words: “He revealed to me the poetry’ power, the fact that words are not just a way of communication but also magic symbols and music.” His mother, Leonor Acevedo, was from Uruguay. She learned English from her husband and translated many novels from that language to Spanish. His father’s family had Spanish, French, and English origins. His mother’, Spanish and French. At his house it was spoken in Spanish and English.”

Diana – that’s the best I can do. I suggest you clarify the relationships better, though.
Was Jorge Luis actually Jorge Guillermo’s son? If so, say so. Whose wife was Leonor? And whose father’s family are you talking about? It’s not quite clear, you need to repeat the names.
